Sustainability

Responsible uranium production for a lower-carbon future

At Peninsula Energy, sustainability is integral to our business strategy and our commitment to building a safe, responsible and sustainable uranium business.

As a United States uranium producer, we recognise the important role that nuclear energy can play in supporting a lower-carbon energy future. We also recognise that supplying uranium responsibly requires a strong commitment to the health and safety of our people, environmental stewardship, ethical governance and meaningful engagement with the communities in which we operate.

Our approach to sustainability is focused on creating lasting value for our stakeholders while actively managing the environmental and social impacts of our activities.

Our Approach to Sustainability

Peninsula's sustainability framework is built around four core pillars: Governance, Employees, Environment and Social.

Together, these pillars guide how we manage our responsibilities, assess risks and opportunities, engage with stakeholders and pursue continuous improvement across our business.

Governance

Operating with integrity, transparency and accountability

Strong corporate governance is fundamental to Peninsula's approach to responsible business practices.

We are committed to maintaining high standards of ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, risk management and transparent reporting.

Our governance framework includes Board-level oversight of sustainability matters through the Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee, which monitors our approach to environmental stewardship, employee health and safety, community engagement and sustainability reporting.

We continue to strengthen our governance processes and reporting practices to support informed decision-making, accountability and long-term value creation.

Employees

Putting our people and their safety first

Our people are our greatest asset, and their health, safety and wellbeing are central to everything we do.

Peninsula is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace where employees and contractors are supported, valued and encouraged to develop their skills and capabilities.

We maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety, radiation protection, employee training, professional development and continuous improvement.

We recognise that building a positive safety culture requires ongoing leadership, engagement and a shared commitment to identifying and managing risks across our operations.

Environment

Responsible stewardship of the environment

Peninsula recognises its responsibility to minimise the environmental impacts of its activities and protect the natural environment in which it operates.

Our Lance Uranium Project in Wyoming utilises in-situ recovery (ISR) technology, which offers several environmental advantages compared with conventional open-pit and underground mining methods, including a smaller surface footprint, reduced land disturbance and lower dust and noise generation.

Our environmental management approach focuses on groundwater protection, radiation monitoring, responsible water management, regulatory compliance and progressive environmental restoration.

Through established environmental management systems, monitoring programs and ongoing operational improvements, we aim to manage environmental risks responsibly and minimise our impacts over the life of our operations.

Social

Supporting our communities and building lasting relationships

We recognise the importance of maintaining positive, respectful and constructive relationships with the communities in which we operate.

Through our wholly owned US subsidiary, Strata Energy, we seek to make a positive contribution to local communities in Wyoming by supporting local employment, procurement, education and community initiatives.

Our approach is underpinned by open communication, stakeholder engagement and respect for the interests and expectations of local communities.

We are committed to building long-term relationships based on trust, transparency and shared benefits.

Contributing to a Lower-Carbon Energy Future

Uranium plays an important role in supporting nuclear energy, which provides reliable, low-carbon electricity.

Through the responsible production of uranium at Lance, Peninsula aims to contribute to the supply of fuel required for nuclear power generation, supporting energy security and the transition towards lower-carbon electricity systems.

Measuring Our Progress

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing process requiring transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Peninsula reports annually on its sustainability activities, performance, challenges and progress across its four sustainability pillars.

During FY2026, we completed a Sustainability and Climate Reporting Gap Assessment and Roadmap, together with an EESG Double Materiality Assessment, to help identify priority sustainability matters and guide improvements to our reporting and management practices.

These initiatives provide a structured foundation for strengthening our sustainability disclosures and embedding sustainability considerations more deeply into business decision-making.

Sustainability Reports

Our annual Sustainability Report provides a detailed overview of our sustainability framework, policies, initiatives and performance across our operations.

The report includes information on corporate governance, employee health and safety, environmental management, community engagement and our ongoing sustainability priorities.
